Could any v3 developer fix GitHub actions (continuous integration)?

Test new macOS package

We need some help from Mac users.
There is a new V2 DMG package available at https://sourceforge.net/projects/librecad/files/OSX/2.2/preRelease/
The package LibreCAD-2.2.0-rc1-192-g24027e44.dmg was built from latest code on High Sierra (10.13.6).
It is in release candidate state and thus as stable as the latest 2.1.3. release and even more stable as the latest alpha package from 2016.
It would be great, if some Mac users can test this package and report about the macOS version and how it worked.

tool descriptions

We need someone to write a simple list of drawing/modify tool descriptions.
In other words, we need answers to the question "What does this tool do?"
This will be used in LibreCAD, so we don't need procedure information.

Less is more at this stage.
We don't need anything fancy... a lack of formatting / style is preferred.
Let us know if you are interested.

Example:

scale / print / print preview

One of the things we need improved the most is scale / print / print preview.

The scale isn't properly saved:

The scale is only found in the print preview.

Using the print preview is fundamental for printing,
yet there is nothing indicating this to users.

The drawing area can only be infinite...
I think it could be useful to allow people to
draw directly onto a representation of the paper like in InkScape.

Printing to PDF requires setting a paper size in Custom Drawing Preferences,
yet there is nothing indicating this to users.

I'm sure there are many others I have forgotten...
needless to say we need someone willing to work in this area.

Fix the only static analysis issue left

The logic seems to be correct in code, but static analysis keeps reporting this issue:

I suppose there's one elegant way to silence the warning and IMPROVE the code.

linux users who can build LibreCAD with Qt 5

We need linux users who can figure out how to build LibreCAD using Qt 5.
Supporting Qt 4 is preventing us from fully utilizing Qt 5 features.

If you figure it out, then please note the required steps.
