I don't know if this post is in the right place, but the forum search didn't return any results.

I am German and would like to help you with the translation in 2.2.2.

I assume there is an English text file that can be translated and returned to the community.

How can I help, or what is the process?

Ich bin Deutscher und würde Euch gerne bei der Übersetzung in 2.2.2. unterstützen.

Ich denke mal, es gibt eine englische Textdatei, die dann übersetzt und an die Community zurückgegeben wird.

Wie kann ich da helfen, bzw. wie ist der Weg?

Wanneer ik een pdf omzet naar dxf en open in Librecad, dan kan een deel wel copieren maar daarna zegt het syteem "wachten". Vervolgens wordt er niets uitgevoerd en moet ik stoppen.

Waar zit de oorzaak.

Adding Thai translation

I have started translating LibreCAD UI into Thai on Weblate. I have 2 questions:

1) Do I have to take more action to get it included in LibreCAD source tree?

2) As a Qt-based translation newbie, how can I test my translation on my local machine? I have tried "releasing" the translation from Qt5 Linguist and copying the output .qm file to /usr/share/librecad/qm/librecad_th.qm, where translations of other languages reside, but the app is still untranslated when opened.

Persian or Arabic fonts for librecad

Hello , I'm using Librecad and have problem with persian fonts. Amiri-regular has beautiful fonts but it is backward , not connected and just have isolated form of every letter.

There is the same problem in Autocad too. But also there have some options for making it better. There are some options in font window like "backward" and also there is an "app" ?! Called "Kateb.lsp" and with apploader inside Autocad , Kateb could give sth like persian or arabic fonts, using persian shx fonts and also turning on "backward" option. It is still not connected (with narrow space between letters) and there are some bugs but some how it works. and there are middle and final forms of letters.

Is it possible to use "kateb.lsp" or something like that in librecad for typing persian?

Serbian translation is (practically) done.

Hello.
I will still do some tweaks, but I have completed the Serbian (Cyrillic) translation of LibreCAD and Plugins.

Only thing left to do is to again translate the Codepage selection dropdown from English to Serbian. (I translated it in one place and need to complete in another).

Either way, the translation has been tested on master and qt6 branch but I will check if there are some things I missed.

I had a long day today, but as is, it is ready for testing and soon with other people's input it can be 100% complete.

Are there any other Serbian speaking users or developers around ?

Librecad italian translation

Hi,

I've traslated Librecad in italian language (not 100% but more accurate and more complete than current translation I hope :).

With "Qt 5 linguist" program on my Ubuntu, loaded librecad_it.ts file (found on github), made translation, released as librecad_it.qm file and replaced old file.

It works.

I know this is not the correct way but I needed a decent translation for my students and the translation server doesn't work since long time.

if anyone wants to have the translated file let me know.

Hi,

The French translation is not up-to-date for the recent LibreCAD features (which is fine) but some old features such as Save or Save as are not translated on a recent build on Ubuntu OS.
The other items in File menu are translated though.

Is it normal ?

Sorry I cannot snapshot the application when a menu is pulled down...

What is it intended to be: do we need to TRANSLATE the librecad commands, or not?

Not an easy one...
What would then be the short form of the translated command?
How is this in other CAD software?

And runs that librecad, but have still yet apply that font added.

Hi I wrote few days ago but nothing happend. I write again. My account on LibreCAD Translation Server is vinko.todoroski and I would like to start translation in Macedonian language. I already add a macedonian language in my account but I don't have any file to work with. Again:
