I'm sorry but with point #2, I don't want to change the unit from mm to inch - I only need to change the "precision" settings as referred at my point #2. So when I draw ie a line, the measurement is then for example 100.0000 mm insted of 100.0 mm, the latter which I wanted - however the angle setting shows as I set it.
3) There is only ""Current Drawing Preferences"" on the version I use and not "Current Drawing Options", but it seem to be the same.

After having applied the Copy command then use the Paste command to insert the object.

Alternatively you can use Move/Copy from Tools - Modify. This behaves the way you expect.

well, align plugin is quite an old one and it not actively supported, actually.

Can you try the Align command from 2.2.2-alpha branch (as well as Rotate command)?

 Hello developers and users,
Sorry to insist on this topic. I am currently testing the latest version of LibreCAD (v2.2.1.3-12-gd1ca469c9) on Debian 13.
I am trying to rotate lines and shapes using a reference, but I'm having trouble getting the lines to coincide perfectly at the same angle. It seems I cannot make them align as expected when using the reference points.
Any advice or confirmation if this is a known issue in this build would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you! i have video about, please check the link

well, 2.0.2 is too outdated version. For more explicit snapping, you'd better switch to 2.2.2-alpha (https://github.com/LibreCAD/LibreCAD/releases/tag/2.2.2_alpha-latest) - there is a visual indication (text label in informational cursor) for snapped point type.

There are many other improvements, as well (yet please not that while this version is more or less stable, it is still non-productional one and is development snapshot)

well, from the first glance this is intentional behavior.

The action for drawing "line vertical" or "line horizontal" creates a line with fixed length (at least in versions that are available for public, as there will be update where it will be possible to create line with selection of end point too).

That length may be changed either via command line or via editor in "tool options" toolbar.

Moreover, that last enter value of the length is used with next command invocation.

So I think the issue is related to current settings and in saved length.

BTW, which version of LibreCAD do you use?

In general, in "Tool options" toolbar for the command there should be UI that is similar to this one (this is from development version)

When creating a new double point line, I click at a point on the drawing to start the line. This moves the relative zero to the point where I clicked and creates a new line (with no apparent endpoint) that rotates around the new relative zero location. The new line extends far past the drawing area.

When creating a new vertical or horizontal line and I click at a point on the drawing to start the line, a new vertical or horizontal line is automatically created (without me selecting the endpoint). The new vertical or horizontal line extends far past the drawing area.

This is unique to the drawing I'm working on. I can still create new double-point, vertical or horizontal lines as usual by setting the beginning and endpoints on previously created drawings. I haven't found a setting to adjust the new line creation issue.
